IFS Logistics: Certification of our location at Carlo-Schmidt-Straße
IFS Logistics certification again confirmed with top grade
The IFS Logistics certification – “International Featured Standards” (IFS) – is an internationally recognized benchmark for quality and product safety in logistics – from storage and transport to distribution. It creates transparency, enables traceability, and strengthens the trust of business partners and customers alike.
For the Schumacher Group, the certification, which has been in place since 2012, is a central component of our quality promise. It regularly demonstrates that we meet the highest standards and consistently maintain our processes at a very high level.
Carlo-Schmidt-Straße location in focus
At the Carlo-Schmidt-Straße site, certification includes, among other things, the storage of nuts in big bags as well as nuts and dried fruits in cartons – both at room temperature and refrigerated.
Particularly noteworthy: This year’s audit took place unannounced – yet the standard was met with a score of 96.19%. This once again certifies that IFS is implementing the requirements at a higher level. A strong signal for our customers and an incentive for the entire team!
