Whistleblower Protection Act – HinSchG

(1) This Act regulates the protection of natural persons who have obtained information about violations in connection with their professional activity or in the run-up to a professional activity and report or disclose such information to the reporting channels provided for under this Act (reporting persons/whistleblowers).
(2) Furthermore, protection is extended to persons who are the subject of a report or disclosure, as well as other persons who are affected by a report or disclosure.
