Merchant for freight forwarding and logistics services is a training profession recognized by the GermanFederal Ministry of Economics and Technology. On August 1, 2004, the professional title of forwarding agent was replaced by the term ofagent for forwarding and logistics services in order to take up the developments in the logistics industry.

Specialist for warehouse logistics (m / f / d)
Warehouse logistics specialist is an apprenticeship in industry, trade and services that has to be learned over a period of three years[1]. Warehouse logistics specialists work in the area of logistical planning, control and organization of the flow of goods. You design sub-processes for the movement of goods or the handling of goods in large warehouses or industrial companies.

Specialist warehouse clerk (m / f / d)
Specialist warehouse clerk is a commercial apprenticeship that has replaced the commercial packer apprenticeship. Training with an IHK degree lasts 2 years.
The predominant tasks include incoming and outgoing goods, the control of stock levels and the handling of goods within large industrial and trading companies as well as the handling of freight forwarding in logistics companies.

Professional driver (m / f / d)
The training of the professional driver takes place according to the professional driver training regulation in a “training framework plan”, in a forwarding company and in the vocational school. The training period is three years. Activities and knowledge are to be conveyed in such a way that the trainee is able to exhaust a qualified professional activity.
